Pretty straight forward notes of toffee vanilla, oak and citrus. I like it.

An excellent start to my first whiskey advent. Smooth, but not without a little bit. A great sipper!

Super hotโ€”but not in a good way! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Even with water added, it was tough to find the flavors through the heat. My tongue is still tinglingโ€”but not in a good way! ๐Ÿ˜†

Canโ€™t decide if this is spicy because itโ€™s a rye or because itโ€™s high gravityโ€ฆ or both. Gets better with more sips.

Some peppery spice with some heat. Giving me some rye vibes but this calendar has tricked me before.

This one is hot! Pretty sure this is what they drank before surgery on the battlefield in the late 1800's. But....good for them because it is delicious. Really opens up after that initial burn.

Wooo! Hot on the front but a little smoother/nicer on the finish after. Good though. Me likey. Smell: pure grain alcohol.

For a brief moment at the beginning of the sip, it tastes good. But for the other 90% of the time, it burns the nostrils and the tongue, and then the nostrils some more. It tastes like a high proof version of a whiskey some dude with three names would sing about in a country song. I like the flavor profile, but too much burn.

Itโ€™s been 3 months or years or minutes in this ethereal plane. I cannot tell the time or day or century. Maybe I have always been here, outside of time or maybe I entered here in my youth. Or maybe I always will have been where I will be one day. I reach for the glass, it shatters and reforms a thousand times. I pour a dram, it cycles back into the bottle. No, not just the bottle, the liquid seeps back from its maker, back into the grain, back into the soil, again and again, re-pouring into my glass which shatters anew or has always been whole. I try again to sip this glass. I taste the sunlight. But not the warm embrace of a spring day, no, a thousand jabs of piercing rays, the first birth of the sun itself and then, its death: cold and somber. Am I trapped here? Forever cursed to taste the sundering of light eternal or am I one of the blessed few, allowed to experience the renewal of a sun? The sip disperses again, I am adrift. So I reach for the glass and it shatters. But this time I hold fast. Or maybe I always had. The sunlight in this glass does not shatter. I am drunk.

This is the best dram of whiskey Iโ€™ve had in a very long time ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿš€. The nose is light, fruity, and inviting. The taste is floral with a hint of smokiness. This is an easy everyday driver and perfectly balanced for me. I canโ€™t wait to own this bottle!

This nose changed on me a few times. First time was more oaky and fruity malt. Gave it time then both taste and nose turned more butterscotchy and candied apple and almost butter popcorn with oak.

Shortbread and a hint of green apple. Irish? Could totally be another Scotch. Iโ€™m gonna overthink this and blow it. Now Iโ€™m thinking maybe Japanese. Itโ€™s super light and sweet up front with a little bitty bite on the back end. Itโ€™s simple, but elegant, very drinkable. Itโ€™s got an almost smoky low note that makes me think Japanese as well.

Its floral scent floats through the air It must be a Scotch, I swear! Sweet blossoms greet my curios nose Like petals whirling as the wind blows. I do not like scotch, oh no But honestly, on me this one is starting to grow. I'd pour not one glass but maybe two. And for scotches I can only say that about a few. So do I like this Sam-I-am? What do I have to say about this dram? Would I drink one with Colleen? Yes indeed, that sounds serene!

Confused for sure. Huge nose full of honey and pineapple in the bottle but changed after it aired out IMO. This was a fun one to try to suss out.

Floral, a lot of apple, what a nose. Solid taste- finish is too short, but an enjoyable dram

No strong reaction or thoughts on this one. Iโ€™d drink it with a meal, but prob not enough that Iโ€™d sip it on its own.
