The nose is pretty tight up front, but it smells like malt. Front palate is pretty simple shortbread vibes, but it opens up in the middle and the finish into orchard fruits. Lovely and composed. Feels full bodied but not overly burn-y. I'm thinking Japanese.

Oh wow this is something. Cooked fruit, hot apples, raisins? Cereals. Most unique profile yet, Paint. Bit of seafood. Also something sweet like licorice? Solvent. Scotch guard. High alcohol. I guess some cinammon. Ay this one needs water hol up. Water settled the taste. I like this a lot. Just a touch of vanilla/butterscoth. WOuldn't have pegged this as a winner for me but I'm here for it. Do wish it were slightly less with the heat.

Not sure about the type, but enjoying this one. Light and smooth with a hint of sweetness. Getting honey on the nose followed by vanilla and floral notes.

One of my favs so far that "tastes" like Scotch to me...so its bound to be a Nigerian Whiskey...seems like a Sherry based whiskey with some smoke and honey. I am starting to think that I am just a sweet whiskey fanboy.

I'm confused. Smells a little like a sweet scotch at first but then not so much. Tastes peppery or like tobacco but a little sweet too. Maybe a rye?

On the higher proof range. Nose is not working today. This might be the darkest scotch I’ve had in a while? Def don’t get the bourbon but maybe finished in oak barrels. I don’t hate it and I don’t love it - it’s like Thursday Night Football. You watch it because there’s nothing else to watch 🥹
