Pretty light and easy. Not a harsh Scotch but any means. If I didn't know better, I'd choose Irish... But I do know better.

Hmm, we're not sure about this one since we don't hate it. Smells and looks like a scotch for sure. Smokey at first, but then sweet and nutty on the next sips. So I guess it's a "scotch I don't hate" which needs to be it's own category.

Seems light and on the nose a scotch, but maybe an irish whiskey? On the palate, I get a little smokiness, very faint, but very smooth. This I enjoyed and found quite good.

Suspect it is a scotch, but not sure. Either way this was a hit, and IF it is a scotch someone may have to draft a formal apology to scotches to atone for past besmirchments. Just sayin.

Yeah it's really bourbon-y. Licorice? Maybe licorice? Honey? Maybe something floral? leafy. Hoo. Haaa. That's hot. Pepper. HEAT. Some nuts. Needs water. Now it's more fragrant than leafy? Unlocked some caramel. Feels like there's some depth here but it's just too much bite for me, I already have enough hair on my chest. Maybe a rye but I'm running with a cask strength bourbon.
