Smooth, floral and vanilla. Whatโ€™s not to like.

Oh I like this. A nice fruit forward scotch I assume. Nice sweet nose of vanilla fruitcake and toffee. Taste is fairly sweet with similar notes. Light oak and finishes with a light malt. I really like it.

My first thought was โ€œooh! Eew!โ€ But I let it linger and it improved. Added a couple drops of water and the really brought out the caramel and brown sugar notes. I wouldnโ€™t sip this, but I would mix this. And now I shall do just that.

Delicious scotch. Was hoping for a little sweeter aftertaste, but delicious.

'Twas the night of the fifteenth tasting, and as I look through the glass, Every swirl and each sip brought new flavors to pass. My first whiff was a symphony, welcoming in, For vanilla and wood is where the notes did begin. On the palate it danced, not quite as it seemed, For the taste wasn't quite where the aroma had me dream. Yet there was charm in the difference, a twist in the tale, A flavor adventure that begged to set sail. So I ponder, I sip, in the amber's embrace, Wondering, "Is this our first other?" in this whiskey chase.

the sun sets on a mossy hill. Weโ€™ve been traveling for 3 days, no sign of our quarry, the Manticore we hunt. We are running low on supplies and begin to realize there will be no return journey. Thunder. A storm rolls in and suddenly we can barely see each other through the rain. Desperate, we run into a cave for shelter. We hear heavy breathing in a rhythmic pattern, we creep closer. There it is, the manticore, weโ€™ve been seeking. Slowly, we creep up and together, strike, true, and slay. The beast in one swoop. Quickly now, we have team the prize, for which we have been hunting: the famed venom of the manticore. One Drop goes into the vile, then a drop of magical antidote, the rest of it is filled with water. We sip, a sample before we take the rest home to sell at our tavern. at first, the venom is harsh, but as we continue our sample, the taste moves from biting to sweet, to fruit, to oak. Yes this is a flavor of monstrous proportions.

Dark fruits, sweet but not too sweet. Strong but not overpowering. Favorite of the calendar!!

The sweet and spice in this didn't balance so well for me. Water didn't really help. Oh well, onward.

This is not too memorable. It's got some spice and caramel flavor, but doesn't distinguish itself much.

I get tootsie roll in this one...which makes me think of my grandma, who called me that sometimes. I'll give this pour a nostalgia bump in the rating.

Not good. This could be that I changed our cat's litter ... but smelled distinctly like cat pee.

Smooth and sweet. Best bourbon so far, no doubt.

Very interesting and complex flavors on this oneโ€ฆ Leather with a lot of sweetness. Loved it neat, really sad I added water. And then more sweetness on the end, almost like a cocktail without the cocktail.

I am 4 days behind, which means my tasting notes are likely to get more amusing as the evening rolls on. I think this is a scotch? Although possibly a Japanese? It's not bad. Not my jam. Fairly mild. I smell cilantro ... which I know ain't right.

Lots of butterscotch and toffee vanilla and dare I say pralines on the nose. Like walking into candy shop that they are making toasted marshmellows. Taste is quite nice especially after a few drops of water. Like eating a butterscotch candy that was stored in a leather pouch. Proof gonna be tough on this one as I think itโ€™s a higher proof smooth drinker. Curious what makes it so sweet. Perhaps a rum barrel something. Comparing proof to EJ toasted barrel

No clue what type this could be, but its delicious. Extremely smooth with almost like prunes on the nose with a caramel heavy finish with smooth notes of honey to help it along.

Sweet and firey. Tasty, and opened up nicely with a splash of water.

This is so confusing. Not a scotch, too dark for Irish, not a rye, so maybe a unique bourbon?? Tasty though.

Disgusting. Smells like a Wings beach shop. Tastes like stale apples. Please don't be my selection.
