Oh boy I could not wait to review this one. Just from the smell I almost puked my Chipotle dinner all over the Christmas tree. I know I should taste it, but I ain't gonna. I give this a negative five.

I made a face on the first sip, and it’s wasn’t a pretty one. I know you’re asking yourself - how is that possible for a bonnie Scottish lass such as myself? So much smoke that lingers far too long. It grew on me a little by my third or fourth sip and I even detected some citrus and pine coming through but really not a fan of the finish. I’m liking Scotch more these days, but this one isn’t for me.

Lots of spicy rye in this mash. Candied cherries on the nose, vanilla taste, caramel finish. Not bad at all.

Orange-y, pepper and baking spices. Got some heat on it. Reminds me of Widow Jane. Maybe a little harsh on the palette. The baking spices want to be enjoyed slowly and the turpentine doesn't.

I like this ok. It doesn't tested like Bourbon. Maybe a Rye? Edit: Gets worse the more I drink it. Edit #2: Don't think it's Rye now. Just going with Other.

Smells of nutmeg, cloyingly sweet for a split second then a nice spicy finish. Completely transformed under a single ice cube into something wonderfully smooth and drinkable
