'Twas the night of the seventeenth tasting, and all through the house, Not a glass was left empty, not even for a mouse. The dram of fine bourbon lay snug in my hand, While I listen to a live album of one of my favorite bands. The leather aroma, it danced in the air, A hint of the warmth that this evening would share. It may be a tad hot, but I'm enjoying the taste, Not this year's best, but this tasting is certainly not a waste. So I raised up my glass, in the soft Christmas light, Merry sipping to all, and to all a good night!

Dark amber. Very sweet nose. Like a new wood. Bubble gum cola maybe, Ima sip it. Yeah that's strong. like i get some like sausage? fennel? Maple syrup. Finally got some cinnamon. Oh it's got a sour, sour lingering aftertaste. Easier with water.

If you don't want to trim your nose hairs, just give this a whiff. This thing is hot. The finish doesn't stand up to the nose and palate, but it's a good sipper nonetheless.

No i get feinty, Pale color, dehytrated urine. Drink some water man! i don't get sweet. Doesn't smell too much heat, is smooth. Earth. Bit medicinal, not overwhelming ok we're scotch but very clean. Japanese? Light and smooth mouthfeel. SMOKE. Hot damn! Do not add water. Man i love this please give it to me for christmas and my birthday.

A sapling grew in the forest, young and hearty but full of a woodsy oaken musk. One day some youths strolled by, laughing and making merry. They went to the tree to make their mark, the classic ‘dick and Jane 4ever’ incased in a heart. But as they cut into the tree, they smelled it’s sap. ‘Ew! This tree smells far too tree-ish, let us find another to carve our love into.’ And they left. The tree, embarrassed, tried to cover its natural scent any way it could. It wooed flowers to grow near its roots, sweet honey bees to nestle in its trunk and hummingbirds to bring Sweet water. The tree wished to be a flower, But try as it might, it could not become one. after many years, ‘Jane’ returned, older and wiser looking for a strong oaken sap. She found the tree, covered in its attempt to hide its true scent. With careful hands, she tapped the tree for its sap, pushing past the smells and the sugary front. ‘Ahh’ she said ‘you did not need such a sweet smell, who you are on the inside is good enough’.
