Winey cinnamon. Let's see.Leather. Toast. Old musty closet. Raisin. Like the scents! Oh hell that first sip was fire and cinnamon! Good gracious. Holy wow lol. Do not care for it much but let's see what a touch of water does. Ok a bit better but not doing it for me. Gotta say I'm shocked at the difference in nose and palate. Right on - day 5 reminding me why I love the whiskey advent!

Hot alcohol on the nose. Cinnamon toffee vanilla and light oak all I get at first. Came back to it and now picking up nuttiness like peanut butter. Whiskey is weird .

'Twas the night of the fifth tasting, and all through the air, A sweet woody scent lingered, beyond all compare. Better than the diaper of the baby sitting on my lap. Yes, this scent was earthy like my Christmas tree dripping with sap. The first sip was a shock, with more power than planned, Bolder than expected, yet you can call me a fan. Could it be rye? I’m not sure, I confess, After five years of tastings, I should know this, I guess. But no matter the name, no matter the grain, This whiskey’s a winner, it would put many others to shame. A powerful pour, and my favorite so far A sip that’s so smooth, I can't wait to add it to my bar.

There’s smooth, then there’s slick. And this here is sliiiiick. Like cool runnings slick. Like Alfalfa slick. Like that one time it iced over my parking lot and I fell straight on my ass in front of my crush slick, but you have to understand, I’m 6’3 so anything I do is clumsy already and when you introduce ice to the equation you get a giraffe doing ballet. Slick. STILL not very complicated, not a lot going on for me. Drinkable? Hellllllllllllllll yes. But is it punching me in the face with flavor? No. The only thing punching me in the face is the icy icy ground from me falling on it that one time. WATER UPDATE: wow. Added nothing. What is water good for anyway? It’s just future ice. And ice is slick. And slick is dangerous.
