Ok, this tastes like a Scotch (Speyside+Highlands). On the nose, it has , stay with me, "New Car scent" mixed with Mint and Band-Aids.... We only have 3 more, so I am winging it with the Japanese since that hasnt shown up yet..

Loved the last one. This one has that Smokey campfire taste to it that Alex likes, but I don’t remember if that’s the Irish whiskey or the Scotch, and I’m not going to look it up, so whatever that is, I think this is that. It does smell like a bandaid, and it’s got a burning “mouth feel” and maybe a rubbery taste. Non of it bad, but also, not flattering notes. This pairs well with Hallmark Christmas movies ft. all the same people in every show. Totally worth it. I mean, this year we’ve been hallmark 24-7. The girls love it and it’s the perfect way to unwind. Maybe that’s why it feels like the right whiskey drinking background. Last year was the year of NETFLIX reviving the Chad Michael Murray career with Merry Gentleman (just watch it and love how he hasn’t changed a bit). This year they have decided to lean heavy on the high cheekbones of one Mario Lopez. Not quite at CMM’s level, but TBH who is? Maybe Adam Brodie? Gah, love me some OC. Anyways…. Back to the whiskey at hand. I’d drink it again. I like the little bit of a burn as it goes down. Coffee and Dr. Pepper approved! Ps, the much larger butt (to be used as a flower pot) is almost finished!

Compared to the last few days, this is a dream! Whatever it is, I approve. Soo probs something cheap and affordable. But that’s ok! I’m usually a “the more alcohol the better”, but apparently not if I’m trying to “enjoy” a beverage. I guess there actually is a line between just putting alcohol a drink to put alcohol in a drink and having a drink that lets you enjoy the process. IDK. Oh well. Most importantly, I’d put this in my coffee… or Dr. Pepper! Tiny butt 3D statue commissioned by Stephanie Capps 😂

Smooth, scotch in a sherry cask. Enjoyed it

That’s a peated scotch at a big boy proof. The smoke doesn’t really come through on the nose, but it’s prominent on the palate without overpowering. I say that, but it might be overwhelming the finish a tad. There are no bad parts to this whisky, but the parts are maybe a bit disjointed? It kinda jumps around rather than transitioning smoothly between fruit and toffee and peat. Definitely wouldn’t kick it outta bed for eating crackers, but if this turns out to be pricey I’ll appreciate the heads up.

One whiff and i was dreading this one. Another scotch. BUT, I was delightfully surprised that the taste was ok. And high heat. Sad that we’re coming to the end of the calendar.

There’s something about the after taste on this one that I’m not loving. Got better with ice. Fallon gives this a peace sign. I’m prepared for my zero points 🙃

Love all the aromas off of this one. Nutty,, floral, vanilla, just super yummy

Some peat! Love this...not as smoky as a Laugavulin, but still nice...GREAT pick!

Just the right amount of islay-ness though it’s prolly speyside or highland.

I’m likely wrong, I doubt my taste and my nose…this season has wrecked me. Scotch…bourbon…rye?!!? I don’t know but I like it!

Getting some scotch vibes but not some great scotch vibes. Not quite a Cutty Sark, but maybe some Cutty. Are there other Cuttys?

Much softer than the recent selections. A dark toffee and there's my brine. Band-aid! A very fine sweetness. Cracked pepper. Love this one.

Hoooboy Hot!

From the peat, I’m guessing Scotch. Getting leather and tobacco notes, with some spices on the tail end. Not too bad, all in all.

Love this! Has the powerful balance of a high gravity Japanese whiskey.

These just keep getting better and better this year. Today’s selection is 💯 my flavor profile of choice. Fruit + smoke + joy. Sipping this one as slowly as possible because I don’t want it to run out. Interesting that there’s no real burn of you sit with it a while. The heat comes as a chaser, and even then it’s more of a numbing heat than a burn.
