Very fruity aroma. Is today a trick too? I don't know how to make these guesses. I lost my trust in the system. This is delightfully spicy and warm. It's so light and airy.

Vaguely standard malted barley notes on the nose, but just enough weirdness to encourage me to talk myself into a stupid guess on type. The palate is talking me off the ledge and back into the straight ahead scotch play. Green apple and a hint of iodine maybe. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing exceptional either. Nice long finish. Eminently drinkable. Great company for being snowed in.

Something dusty, old. Touch of rubber. Japanese or Canadian? Everything is so subtle here. Inoffensive. What I describe as "clean" Cydne says is "boring"! I'd share a dram of this with your mother.

I think Cory poured the wrong thing in my bottle because I would swear this is a Cab or at least a red blend.

It is scotch? Is it Irish? Are you messing with my head again? What is even happening? Dammit. Confused about the style, certainly. Confused that we like it enough to drink it again, not at all. Would buy. "It's all for nothing if you don't have whiskey." - William Wallace (probably)

Light but seems to have a little heat which is throwing me off. Actually enjoyed this one with hints of lemon and pine. Maybe i'm coming around to this type of whiskey

Mmm…. This one is tasty. A Scotch, I think, but not peaty. Not fiery, but a pleasantly smooth sipper. Great selection.

Heat but too subtle on the flavors. Like full proof La Croix scotch

Light and citrusy with a good balance, but the finish is a bit flat for my tastes. Fine, I guess.

Sweat glistens on my palms, I can’t believe I’m finally sitting down with the Remeron, the most famous sorcerer since La’mictel. I mean, Remeron slew an actual dragon, he cured the blight of West Errington and saved the princess herself from that rabid beaver. He is the real deal and now I’m sitting across from him, pen in hand for an exclusive interview. ‘Don’t be nervous child, I am still just human’ he smiles. Of course he’s charming. ‘Right, ok, alrighty, so, Mr. Remeron, walk me through the episode with the dragon, readers are dying to know exactly what happened those years ago’ at last, I know I can get the facts on such a spicy story. The wizard levels his gaze ‘I’ll honest with you, that story has gotten overblown over the years. Yes there was a dragon but it was quite small. All I really did was convince it to move on further north where there was more sheep for it to feed on. It left and hasn’t bothered anyone since.’ I pause my scribbling notes and digest what he said. ‘That’s quite a departure from what’s been reported before…perhaps you’re being too modest. What about the blight?’ ‘Ah yes, similarly blown out of proportion. Those poor villagers had been hoodwinked into believing that some orange elixir would make their plants grow. All I did was convince them to water them with, well, water.’ I am taken aback again. ‘Alright, but surely saving the princess from the rabid beaver was an act of magical prowess yes?’ He chuckles and cleans his glasses. ‘The beaver wasn’t rabid, and the princess wasn’t in danger. She simply hadn’t been tending to her little pet and he needed a snack.’ I can’t help but feel heartbroken. Here my hero, my inspiration for pursuing arcane studies has revealed that his greatest accomplishments haven’t involved magic At all. In fact anyone could have done those things. He sense my fallen crest. ‘Here’ he says as he puts an empty glass in front of me, and before my eyes the glass fills. It’s exciting to see but as I sip I am disappointed. It is not as bombastic a flavor as it appeared. I look to him and he knowingly smirks. I see now, the impression of greatness and reality of flavor juxtapose revealing a simple truth: just like his accomplishments seem tame when explained, there is still magic underneath

Old shoe leather, smell and taste. Not a fan.

Smoky, with a hint of pipe smell and tobacco cabinet flavor. This has to be a rye. I taste no sweetness but do smell a honey with a corn after taste. I'm not a big fan but my husband says it's tasty.

Nose is earthy and grassy. Pretty easy drinker. I'm enjoying it although not sure I'd seek it out.

Pretty straightforward. Spices came through nicely. And easy to enjoy knowing I don’t have to wake up so early tomorrow morning to get the kids off to school! ❄️🥶

Smelled great, tasted terrible. Bland, watery, and more of a drink that primates would enjoy because they don't know any better.

I really at a loss on this one too. Just an odd whiskey to me. Really can’t figure out what the nose is or taste. Tastes like a whiskey that isn’t done aging or just young. Or just bad🤷🏼‍♂️

Not much tasting notes from me. I didn’t really like it enough to spend the time on it.

Someone dissolved a green apple jolly rancher into some bourbon, not my fave

I’m getting dirt and alcohol. My high school mascot was a golden sandstorm and one of our little cheers was “the dirt that hurts”. Seems appropriate here. 🌪️. Cheers!

I took two sips and now my house is on fire.

Notes of dog hair and feet. Jk. All of these drinks kinda smell the same to me. Taste is good. Sharp at first but then a little sweet. Oaky… caramel maybe? I’m digging this whole thing. Looking forward to doing whisky January to drink the leftovers from each day, but knowing what I’m drinking. This whiskey is one I would put in my Coffee… or Dr. Pepper!

Hmm. I'm getting well used old pool noodle. Stale. Scotch. Not briny. But scotch.

Bit of vanilla but not super sweet. Yeah this is hot. Serious bite! Has like a sulphur. Water pulled out cinammon. Don't like this one, Far too much sharp sting.
