I really enjoyed this one. Smooth, tasty, and pleasant to drink. (I’m still probably wrong on what type and proof it is, but that’s ok.)

Here we are halfway through Certainly a few guesses that I would like to redo Doing my best to climb into the top ten Going to have to do better than getting one right now and then Kinda smooth and kinda sweet This one is probably best sipped neat I'm going to throw out a guess of Japanese But I am not making that guess with ease So what do we think Sam-I-am What about this simple dram? It is fine, I'm not the biggest fan Here's hoping this whiskey hails from Japan

FINALLY SOME PEAT!! Just a bit though...but this is a NICE pour. Guessing 8+ year. Honey, floral, light heat. A nice Islay,...not Lagavulin 16, not laphroaig 10....peats me! Nice pick :)

This is lovely. Classic notes of vanilla and oak at just the right strength.

This is a scotch, right? Please be a scotch... My score depends on it.

Nice nose of caramel and butterscotch and a similar taste. Short finish but leaves a little sweet oak.

Hard to find something not to like with this one. Gets a little windy and has a quick finish (that's what she said), but otherwise, I love it.

It's got some sweetness for sure, but the combo is throwing me off. It's like a lullaby in a minor key. Comfortable and kind of dark at the same time.

Getting a little of that bandaid scotchy note on the nose but the taste is nicer. Sweet and deep. My guess is a long aged and a rebarrel in a sweet cask.

Man the nose is like a mix of marzipan/almond and play doh. Taste is like a cinnamon candy with a little oak. It’s nice.

Either I’m crazy or I like this one. Both could be true. I like the smell of this one. Not sure I know anything about it but enjoying it. Eagles out my window! Don’t tell my Dallas friends.

Very enjoyable. Can't believe I'm starting to like Scotch.

The smell was fireball, the taste was burned tire.

It’s alright, a little less strong than I like. Is this Japanese? No idea, could be completely wrong

A few years ago, a sip like that would make me choke. This has to be another scotch Certainly no notes of butterscotch When will these scotches relent? I don't remember sign up for scotch advent! Sam-I-am this just tastes fine I'm sipping it here on the OBX coastline

Peaty, smoky, leather. Nice dram. Guessing Scotch, but I won’t be surprised when I’m wrong.

Strong honey flavor. High on florals. That whiskey burn is real! Reminds me of a cough syrup. This isn't a fave of mine but Rabit says it's growing on him. Curious what Sam I Am picked here.

Islay and maple syrup? Tastes like some hybrid…enjoyed, but wouldn’t buy this

I’ve realized I’m quite clueless on my guesses…I think my tongue and nose are in a large disagreement and unwilling to resolve their differences!

The hubby doesn’t mind this one…he can have it. Gave me goosebumps and not because I loved it. Literally no idea again if it’s Canadian or Irish or what but 🥴

I’m gonna plant a flag on port finished scotch just off the nose (and the color). It’s all dark dried fruit and almond on the front but classic malt flavors on the back. Feels slightly hot but my proof-o-meter is well busted this year. I’m getting some smoked ham notes like I love in the Ardbeg Uigeadail. This one’s growing on me by the minute. Quite lovely on a chilly evening. Must be some fruit to it, a fruit fly kamikaze’d my glass. I fished him out. I’m not sharing this one.
