This is right up my alley.

Soft and smooth. Guessing some low proof based off of how nasty I initially think the higher proof drinks taste. A nice finisher to the month. End on a good note. I can imagine that this is more of a disappointment to the majority of the folks, but honestly, all I’m worried about is if it pairs well with coffee or Dr. Pepper. And it does, and I will. K thanks.

So it’s late, but I like this one. Kinda bummed I didn’t get to test this one when I was in the whiskey zone. Now a week removed and I might have lost it all. Most of my Christmas travels did include me debating on if whatever I was drinking would go well with coffee and Dr. Pepper. So at least I didn’t forget everything I’ve learned over this past month. But day 23 didn’t disappoint. Thanks for whatever this is.

I don’t know what to make of this. It was not bad. It was not great. It was not strong. It was not weak. I feel like I’m describing bumblebee from transformers? Just a solid, whatever pour. Did I get hydrated from this somehow?

What even is this?? This is the most unique tasting of this calendar. I’m at a complete loss but it’s quite good.

Not an easy sipper. Very peppery and solid heat. Just ok for me, overall.

Scotch to close it out, and it was enjoyable. Thanks for another fun calendar this year. It was a blast!

I got chocolate in this, which was a pleasant surprise. Very glad to be finishing another enjoyable Whiskey Advent. Merry Christmas to all!

Merry Christmas to me! This one was delicious! At this point, I just want to say how sad I am that this advent is coming to a close! I have loved trying all the whiskeys - it's made me realize some of my favorites aren't my favorites anymore and I might actually like a scotch or a rye here and there. Santa comes tonight and this whiskey is ending the night with a bang! Lovely notes, lovely flavors. YUMM.

Ice creaks and breaks way before our ship. We’ve been traveling north for 3 weeks now, the ice grew thick the 2nd week. Winter continues to expand her frigid touch across more and more land. 30 years since the last Christmas, cold and ice has devoured our world ever since. But we haven’t given up yet, not on him. This ship carries the Elixir, our chance to find the Old Man and fix whatever broke him. We finally reach the North Pole, now but a ruin of its former glory. Carefully we make our way over sheets of ice to the coziest of cabins, and walk inside. There to our horror, the Old Man in a rocking chair…or what was left of him. Gaunt and decaying, still wearing his red and white, Santa Claus’s earthly vessel sat lifeless. A letter in his hand, reads simply ‘Winter Has Won, I am sorry. Ho Ho No more.’ In a frantic move, our captain uncorks the elixir and pours some in the dead man’s mouth. Nothing. We weep, tears freezing to our faces. It is over then. The elixir can’t bring back the dead. It is distilled holiday cheer, concentrated joy from the little children clinging onto the legend of Saint Nick. Through my tears I think of my nephew, so new to this world, who will never experience Christmas. I dry my eyes, grit my teeth and with a determination I knew not I had, I grab the elixir from my captain. The world spins as it travels to my belly, my belly that is swelling. My eyes begin to blur, I need glasses! My face itches, a beard sprouts from my chin. The body in the chair melts away as I feel the spirit of Saint Nicholas warm me. Suddenly a list, billions long races through my brain. I look down at my hand: the bottle remains full. A Magic elixir didn’t save Christmas, it was the joy I wished to see on my nephew’s face.

Light, fruity...easy sipper! Nice work picking this one....not my favorite, I like a little more power but still good! Cheers, this has been super fun y'all!

Really enjoyed this one…smooth. Is it Irish? Scotch? Probably a blasted rye but I don’t think so….

Ending on a scotch?!?! Definitely not bourbon or rye. Tastes like a pretty straightforward single malt. Tasty if not super complex. Tastes like a good proof for a scotch. A very pleasant farewell to the 2025 calendar.

Outstanding. This has been a blast, we'll be back next year!

Smooth. Peaty, a bit - tastes like a smooth Scotch, but I don’t remember the Indian whiskey showing up yet so going with that. Might have to pick up a bottle of whatever this is.

Seems pretty light fruit forward Scotch. Caramel apple on nose and oaky candy and dried fruit on palate. Sad it’s the last night and my rankings dropped so much this year. So I am gonna take a year off from work and devote all my days to drinking the worlds whiskeys to prepare for next year. Who’s with me!? Thanks Cory amazing as always!

I enjoyed this one tonight. Getting some good fruit on this one. I had a lot of fun learning about whiskey and playing whiskey advent. What a fun way to get friends together during advent season. Thank you to Mr and Mrs Hef and all the contributors. I loved the write ups and the videos and all the great content. Also I loved reading all the tasting comments and you guys are super impressive about knowing all the nuances in these drinks. I’ve also learned that if my throat is burning I should guess 125 proof!
