Tasted refined, but maybe that’s cause it’s late in the calendar and I expect the better whiskeys later…would def buy this.

Stepped away from this none and kinda forgot notes but I remember the basics of toffee oak and spice. Nice mouth feel and higher period I guess. I like it.

OK, I need to actually review this one. The nose on this one was exactly like a nice cigar soaked in a Cherry slushy. This is the hottest bourbon (I think) that I have ever had. Tried it neat at first, and had immediate heartburn from the ethanol. I made a Old Fashion with the remaining amount and its what I would imagine it would taste like if Luxardo made a barrel proof bottle. New highest rating, just is a beast if sipped neat.

Ohh I like the smell. Tastes sweet and strong but then some kind of solid flavor that I can only think of a spicy rock to describe it. Not sure I love it. I don’t know what I’m saying. 🔥

Think I'm smelling fruit on the nose after trying to get past the burn. The heat is real and makes pulling anything else out impossible.

Well day number twenty and I drink this one sad. It's halftime for JMU and they are doing quite bad. The ducks are looking unstoppable. A comeback is looking anything but possible. But back to the whiskey to make me glad. Hopefully something to take me back to when I was an undergrad. I am getting quite a bit of cherry. I'm not so sure this one is going to change my mood to merry. Sam-I-am, we're nearing the big day. You are stumbling through less to compete than just play. This one confuses me, I have not a clue. So let's go ahead and plug bourbon, yep that'll do.

I have absolutely no fucking clue what this is. It has such a pleasant nose, but then it hits you with a Red Hots on steroids. Ever burned your tongue and it just keeps burning for about 30 mins...yup...that just happened.

Woof. Another REALLY hot one, but this whiskey is a hit, we both LOVE this one. Style-wise, who freaking knows. I feel like it is a bourbon, but I might get scammed with another 'other' so we'll just roll the dice. A real standout of the month though, this is a great whiskey.

Really like the smell of this one, burns a little on its way down but I suspect I'm liking it more than KG/SG. Guessing bourbon because it's safe (and I'll contest any more "others"). Go pack go!!

I can't remember the last time I was this close to cracking a case this dangerous, or one with as many implications. I DO remember the last time I was sitting at a poker table with a gun pointed at me from across the cards. But this time might be my last. "Your turn detective...I suggest you fold." But I can't fold. Not now. I'm so close to finding out the secret recipe. A week ago I didn't care how Liqui-corp made their blend. But a dame came to my office, nervous and agitated. Someone was after her because she had discovered the truth. I brushed her off, another case of paranoia, common ever since The Bombs dropped and reshaped the world. But I was wrong. Found her body the next day, clearly a target of Liqui-corp. I'm a like a scientist with an atom to split when it comes to cases like this, and the clues finally led me here: a high stakes poker game with the CEO of Liqui-corp. on the table: my entire life savings (45 nuka-bucks) and the recipe. Of course, I had the winning hand, hence the gun in my face. He was never going to play fair. But neither was I. "I think I'll raise actually". And I duck under the table, lift up quickly and overturn the game but not before I grab the recipe. Shots fire towards the ceiling as the CEO takes a tumble. I'm already out the window and racing down the fire-escape. I find an alley and read the recipe. Everything seems normal, they distill the alcohol in pre-war barrels and age them quickly with atomic radiation, totally normal process. But I realize something is missing...there's no de-radiating procedure. I turn it over and nothing. Read it again twice. I understand why they would kill to keep this secret: Liqui-corp is known for having maximum tasting beverages, because they are still RADIOACTIVE!

Woah. Big apricot front end. Plenty proof. Lots of baking spice. The nose isn’t giving much more than dusty hay and furniture varnish, but the palate is a flavor bomb. This one’s almost too intense to enjoy. I feel like it wants water but I’m trying to get a handle on the proof for the form. There’s a lot of golden raisin happening. I feel like we’re going into the last row of the box like the finale of a fireworks show.

On first smell I’m getting sweet and a lot of alcohol. I don’t know what guess anymore. Lots of fire. Also sharing this outtake from my family Christmas card card in the mid 90s that my mom shared with me this week. Can’t imagine why this didn’t make the card. What says Christmas more than posing with your sister on the trampoline in your church clothes in your backyard in the Texas panhandle. 🤣cheers!

Apple pie and fire had a baby. Take today and combine it with yesterday, you’ve got apple pie à la mode and fire had a baby. That sounds perfect.

Nasty licorice flavor. Very light smell. I'm out of guesses. Strange flavor here. Lingers on the palate in a thick, odd uncomfortable feeling.

Vanilla ice cream and door had a baby…amazing

Warm, caramel notes. Intense spice and burn. I just read the guesses out loud in order on the page. My kid yelled "you said 6/7!"

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again…I like hugs! I’ve also said I suck at this…many colorful words may be said if this is a scotch!
