Simply delicious. Strong without losing that sweet balance.

Man this one is speaking too me for some reason. Spicy and complex.

Tasty scotch but doesn’t blow me away

not my cup-o-tea...

Not much unlike the section of 440 right outside my house: this continues to develop, seemingly never ceasing. It lingers like a houseguest that should have left hours ago but we both know neither wants them to leave…then they say ‘well I better get going’ and I say ‘but it’s so late and you’ve had a few’ ‘I’m good to drive I’m sure’ ‘but…it’s storming outside it’s not safe’ I say. ‘Oh…now that you mention it, it’s quite fearsome out there’ (there is nary a cloud in the sky) ‘why don’t you just crash here?’ ‘I would but…there’s only one bed’ ‘that’s not a problem at all’ I say.

One of the better Scotch’s that we’ve had. Still not my personal jam.

I like the burn on this. Good balance for my tastes

I like this a lot. Subtle, gentle, nice and easy.

Nice light lemon and citrus flavor. Nose is fresh cut grass. Irish?

Smoke & leather for me, maybe a little bit of popcorn.

Oh i got bananas! Can't believe yesterday's wasn't scotch. Smells very round. cinnamon. thinking bananas foster. Creamy. Goes down so smooth. Opens nicely with a dash of water. Nutmeg. Seems a nice regular rotation one. I usually preer neat but i'd say this could go well with ice.

quickie for catching up. Floral. Delicate even. Scotch. Going Japanese!

Pretty scotchy but not that scotchy I guess

Malty scotch notes obviously with raisin and fruitcake heavy on citrus, it seems well aged. Reminds me of my 19 year speyside. Nice rich taste. Scotches or scotch types are tough. I like it. Nice complexity compared to some others.

Tonight's entry kind of surprised me. Not a huge fan of this type of whiskey but i was pleasantly surprised. Smooth, not to heavy on the peat or smoke, just quite enjoyable. Nice, easy sipper.

'Twas the night of the eleventh tasting, I sat holding my glass, thinking about yesterdays whiskey and feeling a bit crass. The first few whiffs, a delight to behold, Maple syrup, perhaps cherry, a tale to be told. But as I sipped slowly, with great expectation, The taste didn’t match up, what a consternation. For the smell was enticing, a heavenly brew, Yet the flavor was average, making my Christmas blue. A Tennessee whiskey, with charm in the nose, But the taste left me pondering, just how it goes. So here’s to the bottle, though not quite the best, May tomorrow whiskey be better, and hopefully I have a good guess.

Smooth scotch. Good scotch.

Who knew that cigars and fruitcake would go so well together, especially warmed over the campfire! I’m also sure this is a Japanese since I went with scotch. Or vice versa.

Has the balance and delicate flavors of a Speyside. I like this one, but don’t have any strong feelings about it.

I look up at the clouds ‘there’s a mountain’ oh ‘there’s a rhinoceros!’ Oh ‘there’s a stunning depiction of what it’s like to be on the tail end of one generation but aged out of the one coming up and so you cannot relate truly to either’ isn’t it glorious? And I turn to my friend Sebastian to hear his thoughts on what shapes the clouds tske but he is not there. He never was. And nor was I. I’m sitting at a table. Inside. I’ve never met anyone named Sebastian. So I take another sip.
