Really interesting combo of flavors. Like a cherry pie put in a blender with caramel ice cream.

Nice rich amber color, sweet honey nose, a bit of a bite throughout the finish. This smells like a bourbon but drinks a bit like a rye. Do I love it? Not really. Have both my kids been sick since before Thanksgiving and I’m just glad to have some booze at the end of the day? Absolutely. While this wouldn’t be my first choice to enjoy neat, I bet it would make an excellent cocktail.

Earthy, some baking spice, light nose, short finish. I have zero clue what this is. Has that green apple 🍏 flavor that usually means it’s younger.

Very smooth on the front end and easy to drink. Flavors reminded me of grains, and swear I caught a bit of vanilla in the nose.

Balanced. Sweet and spicy. Not overpowering. Smooth. A little vanilla?

I get a licorice and medicinal taste. A bit of heat, don’t know what it is….

This is insanely good. It smells exactly like chocolate covered cherries and amaretto. It takes a second for the heat to drop, but after giving it some air, it shines.

Strong in the wrong way. Decent.

Sweet delicious bourbon done really well. This is one of my favorite bourbons and I was so happy to see it get the recognition it deserves last year. It’s as good as I remember.

Trying to shake of the rust here. Apple hints to the nose Licorice to taste but smooth. Not a neat drinker but this one is a nice neat. I’ve didn’t open flavors much

Nice way to start off the calendar, got a little heat on the nose but smooth through with a nice peppery finish

nose is fresh fruit, maybe a lemon, flower taste builds heat slowly with a sourwood aftertaste after a dash of water i get more wood forward on the nose and vanilla custard? my youngest says it smells like oil and wants to taste lord help me burns much faster after water oddly i'd order this neat and sip for a minute, enjoyable. souring again after some time i'm keeping this guess irish, crossing my fingers! Thankful for Whiskey Advent!

What a way to kick the calendar off. This is fantastic. Really smooth and tasty. I would for sure buy this.
