I’d drink this again

Old shoe leather, smell and taste. Not a fan.

Smelled great, tasted terrible. Bland, watery, and more of a drink that primates would enjoy because they don't know any better.

I’m getting dirt and alcohol. My high school mascot was a golden sandstorm and one of our little cheers was “the dirt that hurts”. Seems appropriate here. 🌪️. Cheers!

Smooth bourbon not very complex. It did pair very well with a cigar.

Ugh - I don't know what this is!! Getting some floral, but I don't know. Also something about it I don't love - ?? What even. Pairing with some Christmas music to add more joy : )

Well here we are, six days done These last few days are ruining my fun. But Sam-I-am does not quit Even if I am beat up a bit A smoky smell tickles my nose I believe this scotch with increase my woes. But wait! Is the first scotch I love? This is truly unheard of! So what do I think Sam-I-am? What do I say about this tasty dram? I really want it to be a scotch. But this is most likely another day I'll botch.

I absolutely love it. Scotch but smooth, easy drinking.

Scotch seems to be growing on this group and I'll admit it's growing on me too, but not quite in this one. I don't hate it but I don't love it. And for whatever reason, here's a picture of some mice.

Second of the night to play catchup - question as old as time for me. Aroma light spring fruits, floral. Palate much of the same -- light and crispy. Not overly complex. A little bit of peat on the backend, guessing most won't like it, but it's fine to me. Again, clearly I'm aging in my tastes.

Big fan of this one (this is day 5, I’m a day behind catching up). Seems like a classic bourbon color, aroma and palate. Oak and nutmeg on the aroma, maybe some chocolate. Thick mouth feel, caramel and maybe some dark fruit. Good long finish, but not too hot. This is something good and complex, will be my highest rated so far this year.

Spice and dark cherry on the nose. Barrel-proof bourbon that burns on the first sip and gets better with time

As I sit by firelight. I stare into a glass of amber shining bright. The first sniff my how it burns. The heat begins to raise concerns. Yet I take the first sip, I am amazed. Is this a rye, that I am going to praise? It must be something barrell proof. If you're reading this do I look like a genius or goof? So do I like this Sam-I-am? What is the verdict on this little dram? I'd have another, yes another pour This is a drink worthy of an encore

I taste caramel and burning! : ) I thought it deserved to sit by the tiger curtains. This one is interesting. TGIF!

I have no idea what this is but it hurts so good

Its floral scent floats through the air It must be a Scotch, I swear! Sweet blossoms greet my curios nose Like petals whirling as the wind blows. I do not like scotch, oh no But honestly, on me this one is starting to grow. I'd pour not one glass but maybe two. And for scotches I can only say that about a few. So do I like this Sam-I-am? What do I have to say about this dram? Would I drink one with Colleen? Yes indeed, that sounds serene!

Guessing between Scotch and Irish is so stressful!
