Well this one has quite the punch, doesn't it? I like it a lot. Tons of tropical fruit, vanilla and a ton of heat. If it were dialed down just a touch, it'd be almost perfect.

It's brown sugar and brown butter and cherries, but hinting at red apple and pear. Just massively dense. I should probably add water but I don't want to.

Pretty solid fruity flavors. I like it, but kind of right down the middle. Not sticking out which isn't necessarily bad. If the price is right, this could a nice house Scotch.

The nose is pretty tight up front, but it smells like malt. Front palate is pretty simple shortbread vibes, but it opens up in the middle and the finish into orchard fruits. Lovely and composed. Feels full bodied but not overly burn-y. I'm thinking Japanese.

On the higher proof range. Nose is not working today. This might be the darkest scotch I’ve had in a while? Def don’t get the bourbon but maybe finished in oak barrels. I don’t hate it and I don’t love it - it’s like Thursday Night Football. You watch it because there’s nothing else to watch 🥹

Feels like the mashbill is having a tug of war between wheat and rye with the person drinking it paying the price. The proof is certainly up there which I don't hate, but the flavor is a miss for me.
