Orange-y, pepper and baking spices. Got some heat on it. Reminds me of Widow Jane. Maybe a little harsh on the palette. The baking spices want to be enjoyed slowly and the turpentine doesn't.

Bottled in bond? This is tasty stuff right here. Super easy on the finish. Sweet upfront. My kind of drinkโ€ฆRye? Iโ€™ll stick with bottled in bond.

The smell is familiar, the taste is complex and enthralling. I get hints of spice and plum. The whiskey has a strong punch behind it, with a strong alcohol content. Some type of barrel proof, maybe Bookers.

Woof. The peat really smacks you in the mouth, my wife mentioned a taste of dusty marrow, not a good sign. I like scotch and rather liked it but it is pretty hot and raw, this is what I'd expect a scotch that Willem Dafoe distilled in his shed would taste like. Would drink again but can't kiss my wife after I do.

Harsh on the front end which made us initially suspicious it was a rye. Good nose, hard to nail down what I'm picking up in it though. May be that I scorched my palate by tasting day 2 right before this one.

This one is very interesting. Fruity. I have no idea what this is. Not bad though

Little nose. Brown sugar. Carmel. But not much. Possible breakfast drink.

It's either a decent blend or a sub par single grain. Itโ€™s pleasant but a bit sweet. Surprising body. Lots of dried fruit. A good fit for the season.

Lemon drops, honey, diapers, and a few other ingredients that make me picture a picnic at a retirement home.

Smells very "alcoholly". I guessing this is on the lower end of the price range.

Brown sugar on the nose. Rye grass. Pepper. Honey. Not much on the back end. Simple syrup.

Getting hints of rye spice, not overly hot. Is this our first rye of the year?

It's growing on me the more I sit with it, but my first reaction was Tennessee whiskey. Big cherry note and lots of wood.

I keep thinking tequila and lime. I hate it, but my code requires me to finish every drop and I dread taking another sip. How does this fall into the category of whiskey? I hope this isnโ€™t one of my selections.

Easy drinkin'! Getting some fruity something or other and just wish the finish lasted longer (that's what she said...)

Heavy fruit on the front and some spice on the back. I am really having trouble figuring out the category of this one.

Pepper. Rye spice. Caramel and brown sugar. Peppermint. Clean finish. My wife liked this one, so sounds like I better buy a bottle.... super delish.

Trying not to overthink this. It tastes like a good but straight down the middle bourbon to me.
