First sip was a bit if a surprise. Lots of heat. But it mellowed out a couple sips in and was really nice. Lots of depth. Honey, plum, pepper. Mmm.

Quality bourbon and tastes more refined then most. Had this alongside Buffalo Trace and it tasted really similar. Might be Kentucky's favorite colonel using his favorite mash bill.

A little alcohol and vanilla in the nose. Loads of warms that lingers. The caramel vanilla spice is pretty mild, higher proof stands out. Not much flavor lingering, but the subtle spice is nice. Warm top to bottom. Wish it were snowing.
