Not getting a lot on the nose, but really liked the leathery taste mixed with some sweetness. Reminded me of an old dude in a velvet sweater smoking a pipe. You know he's got stories and was likely famous in his day, but when you're chatting with him, he's only interested in listening to your take on politics, relationships and commiserating about not getting those Taylor Swift tickets. I like coffee and whiskey, but not sure I love this and not sure I hate it. That said, I think you're doing it wrong if you're not mixing it with Irish cream.

This is a good Scotch, a little thin, but not too much. Getting apples and other scotchy things. Not at all offensive to the palate.

This is A LOT hotter than I remember. Almost like this could be on an episode of "Hot Ones".

The nose on this one burned off most of my nasal hair, but it redeemed itself with a little sweet on the front and a great finish. We both felt like it could be a rye and the consensus is that we'd buy this. Good stuff. Thanks for not slipping me Fireball on day 1.

Overheard at the tasting: 'I took a whiff and it made my face hot', 'The only reason you'd drink that is to get drunk', 'somewhere out there a radiator needing cleaned is crying out with every sip I take', and 'I like that it's not sweet, but &^%$!'.

I talked my son (22) into drinking the rest of this so I didn't have to. Thin and weak. This is a whiskey that has had sand kicked in its face repeatedly.

Would not bet the farm that this is not a scotch, but it would be such a weak scotch that we learn toward not. Very hot on the nose, less so on the tail. Sam says 'Almost sweet at the beginning, then its just alcohol.' We both tend to like this.

I like scotch. I really like scotch. Tasting this scotch made me sad. It's like learning that a corgi mauled an old lady, changing how you think of corgis and making you suspicious of them all from that point forward. I feel like I can't trust scotch now that I've tasted this travesty.
