My New Years resolution last year was to be able to tell the difference between bourbon & rye. This is a very tasty whiskey, tons of spice, pretty smooth. I am really enjoying it. Betting on rye and hoping I succeeded in 2021.

Aww yeah. This tastes like the Bobby Flay of bourbons with all that sweet heart.

Apple cinnamon. Smooth when neat - probably on lower proof side. Enjoyed it with a small ice cube as well.

Simple syrup again. Weirdly feels like I am drinking someone else's drink after they left an ice cube in it and it came back up to room temp. Diluted. Flat. But surprisingly nice late finish of spearmint and rye spice.

This is very unique, don't think I've had something like this before. Notes of bright fruit at the front, transitioning to dark fruit and roasted coffee. Overall, very enjoyable, if only for it's uniqueness.

Not much on the nose, not much on the palette. I got hints of black licorice, but nothing else. Sort of boring, not bad but not good either. A non-factor.

This smells safe like a date your mom set up for you. But it tastes like you just figured out your date is your mom in a wig trying to keep an eye on you.

I was surer on the nose than the palate. I'm getting classic green apple on the nose.

Spicey, clove, pepper. Vanilla. I like this one. Nice finish. At first I thought this was clearly a bourbon, but the longer I sip, wondering if it might be a gentle rye. Meh. Good either way.

Not getting much fruit on this one. Kind of a maple-y flavor. Some spice and like antique wood notes. Decent body, not super complex.

Getting some vanilla, cognac was thrown around. This is a tough one to type. Not bad but I don't love it.

I like this one. I'm likely to be guessing rye again incorrectly, feels like a pattern...

This one really split the room. We got nutmeg and a strong alcohol smell. I liked it, nobody else here did, so I got to drink almost all of it. I hope it is not some crappy back-alley whiskey or I'm gonna look like a jackass after poo-pooing their negative reviews.

Nice strong smell of cherries. Strong good whiskey, but a tad bit medicinal for me.

Smells and tastes a bit smoky, but not in the heavy scotch way. More of a light a match after a vicious trip to the restroom. Still liked it though. The finish gave me a hint of burnt honey.

Definitely not bourbon... I think. I don't even think my nose is working today.

Goosebumps on first sip - probably on higher end of proof range

Man, this is like a combo bourbon-irish. Liking it. Sweet, peaty. A little leather and smoke. But sweet again. Solid.

Sweet upfront and a little spicy. Definitely good
